Can you help me please I’m new to 3d printing what orientation should this be in the bed I ask as I’m having a lot of trouble my support sucks

hi , if you wouldn't lot of support ,use 85° in cura

hi, very nice model congratulations, I wanted to know if there is a version with supports already inserted

Hi and thank you :)
No supported version of her, I thought it would be better for people to add their own.

Probleme, après 3 Print, sur Creality CR-10 et S3D, ça ne tient pas, ça arrive aux genoux et ça casse ...

Essai avec radeau et support :(

Ça casse de quelle manière exactement?

Printed it on my DIY-Printer after a lot of testing. Worked fine with enough support for the arms. Thanks for the Model!

Hi, as a TR fan I couldn't resist trying to print this model. I already printed the TR key ring, which came out of my Monoprice Select Mini quite perfect. But this one fails to print, time after time. When the print is about the height of Lara's kneecaps (or where they're supposed to be), I notice a displacement in the printing, which results in tearing her one leg of the printing bed. I tried adding a round baseplate, but that didn't ressolve the problem. I use Cura in order to print, and I set support as follows: everywhere, grid, overhang 60°, 15 infill, 0.7 X/Y, Z 0.15. Quality of printing is set on high quality (0.06 layer height, shell thickness 0.8). Fill density 40%. I guess scaling down might have caused the fault. As my printer is limited to 12x12x12 cm, I print this model at about half the original size. Or the support generated by Cura isn't just enough.

Hi and sorry to hear you have problems.
As you said yes, cura dont put enough supports thats why I said to use strong ones.
I will make a model with that part supported.
Will upload it very soon.

Thank you! Meanwhile, I saw that Shmeed made this model on the same printer. He had the same problem and succeeded in printing it after cutting of some of the soles for having a flatter contact surface with the printer bed. So I sliced a little piece off the soles and added a round base plate. Printing now, I'll upload when finished. Update: failed again, broke of above the left boot.

making one as im writing this. couple problems but thats just me being a noob at simplify3d.

Heya, I hope your printing is going ok, what kind of problems did you have?

Was this printed with you A8 ?

Hi, yes printed with A8.

I went to sleep about 2/5 of the print. The bottom came off the bed so I woke up to some spaghetti. Lol
