Thank you very much for posting this, I had to update my website and the whole category system changed, hence the link not working.
I found that without a proper understanding of the aerodynamics of the blade design, I was unable to make this a viable alternative to my main standard wind turbine for producing power. It has now essentially become a decoration outside of my window.

Looks great! Any tests on what it's output is? I've struggled with getting good output and measurements from small VAWTS. I'd suggest you could try something as simple as this

as a turbine controller (turbine controllers allow you to program various loads/outputs to be set to series of speeds, allowing the turbines speed relative to the flow to be optimized for maximum power production. These controllers have a regeneration function, that's PC software driven, where you can ask it to load for X1 Current, at low speed, then X2 Current at medium speed, etc.
