You beat me, kinda.

Your concept is very similar to something I'm working on. Isolating the plastruder platform from wobbles by the unstraightness of the threaded rod and using to precision rods to keep the travel as straight as possible. Here's a link to some pictures. :)

how well did you find it eliminated the wobbel? can u post a short vid?

I added an image of the 20mm test cube before and after, the layer thickness is .25mm on each. I noticed that the smaller the layer thickness is, the more pronounced the wobble is.
