Did you use any infill? What were your print settings?

hi , can you turn this into a cookie jar? just cut the brain off and do a hole into the head , I tryed to do that but Im not able to upload the file on thinkercad

I can try. It's a very heavy "baked" model. Modifying it isn't all that fun. lol However, that being said, I love the idea. :)

I was able to slice it in two parts , but thinghiverse isn't able to upload it otherwise I would do that myself

Nice, I've yet to get any good scans out of my digitizer. Did you have to prep the model at all?

No. One thing I played with was lighting. I made sure the light was back behind the scanner and that it overrides all other light sources. Other than that I just did three scans. One of it sitting upright as it should be. One sitting on the left side and one on the right. In all cases the sculpture started facing the same direction. Face towards camera. The light I am using is a small desk lamp that simulates sun. (or is supposed to) Here is a link. http://www.soldonled.com/files/1227BK1-2Gang.jpghttp://www.soldonled.com/files... I assume any lamp using that bulb would work. Also, I got the heck out of the way. My scanner faces my desk seat, so I started the scan and left the area so I didn't cause any background noise. I plan on making a small wall so that I can stay put in the future. I hope this helps. :)

Yes. I guess I was a bit to vague in the description. I originally sculpted this in clay back in 1990. Ran a mold of it and then did a latex/polyfoam run of that mold. It's been sitting around so long that the latex and foam are rotting away. I scanned it useing my Makerbot Digitizer.
