Great idea, I'm going to print it in PETG which is much more flexible than PLA, I'll keep you informed of the results.

Nice! Definitely let me know how that works out. And hey thanks for the tip! Much appreciated :)

Part printed. gadgetman48 was right, latch breaks too easily, mainly due to the printer having to jump and print very small areas in the latch sides. which make them fragile. I modified the part so there is no jumps, every layer is printed at once, now the latch is a little harder to undo but there's definitely no risk of breaking it at all. I strongly - pun not intended - suggest you to modify the design accordingly.

Good idea! I'll make a version like this and re-upload. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

What is the widest strap?

latch for tooth clamp keeps breaking even with 60 % infill hatchbox pla. used 4 bottom and top layers and 3 side layer. Haven't tried 100 % infill

I really like the idea and the strap clamp works somewhat even without the latch but I probably wound not trust it.

Glorious Prints and Photos!

The clip to fasten the strap connector broke on mine so cannot be used straight after printing. Any ideas? I didn't use any supports.

Hmm? I've been using mine for over 2 years now, even switching them to different straps pretty often, and the only time I experienced a break was when I tried ABS. My PLA versions have stayed strong. So I suggest using a strong PLA (like hatchbox) and making sure your layers are tight and that that part has 100% infill. Simplify3D is the best slicer for doing 100% infill on thin pars and making them very strong.

Additionally, you can get into some 3D editing software and make that lip a little bit larger. I can do this at some point, just a little busy at the moment.
