Hi there, nice work ... what grid for the pegboard did you use? What dia did you use for the holes.

I'm gonna build a pegboard with your kit as a give away for x-mas

Silly question, but what is the orientation of the parts on the print bed. Do we need to add supports for hooks that go out horizontally?

No problem....All parts are in the orientation I used to print except for the screwdriver hook. That was rotated 90 deg, and yes support was used for the small horizontal parts.

I would think so but I've only used ABS for this stuff. Just need minimal support for some of the parts.

are the holders strong enough with PLA? Any printing tips?

I've printed about:
10 pliers loops
50 large and 50 small hooks
a handful of the straight/slanted straight hooks
a couple of the tape measure shelves

All in PLA with 45% infill @ 0.2 layer height. They fit well and are quite strong. Because the layers run vertical to the downward pull of a hanging tool, there's no danger of a delamination failure leading to the hook breaking.

I've only broken 1 hook so far, and that was due to pulling a tool off too fast and not letting it clear the hook before pulling it downwards. I have hooks with 1-2 pounds hanging from them that have held just fine in the 90+ degree garage.

I have broken one of the pegs on one of the tape measure shelves (which is a great bike tool holder as well!), due to my own negligence. It was upon removal to move it to a different set of holes, and I twisted it too soon. Because the pegs on the shelf do have layers running parallel to the force, they can break if incorrectly removed or inserted. However, the shelf holds fine with only a partial peg
