Is it possible for you to remix the clips to fit on one of the sides (i have a custom clone that does not have a psu). If not, can you provide the source files so I can remix it? I want to mount it on one of the sides to get rid of that annoying bar sized light blockage!

I'm afraid I don't have the original files usable anymore, as they were created in 123D before they removed the software. Feel free to work with the clip design in another application though. It's pretty simple, just needs to be something that will attach to your frame and have a circular hole to match the diameter of the light bar.

Could you send some pictures of how you attached it to the Prusa power supply too? i would love to do the same so i don't forget to turn the light on or off.

Thanks for your help

It looks like I didn't take any photos of the power supply while I was putting that in, but you can get a great shot of it from this page:

In the very first photo there you can see a row of screws that tighten down on the power wires (red and black), with two screws remaining without any wires. Connect the positive and negative wires from your light to those spots with fork crimp-connectors. The "V+" and "V-" are printed right above the power supply connectors, so it's easy to keep them straight. Just be sure to use wire that's large enough for what your LED lights would use. I think what I had on hand was 22 AWG solid-core wire.

who makes that spool holder?

It's this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1832235

I liked it while I kept spools on the top of my Prusa. I've since put them on a self-standing support above the printer, so that the weight isn't added to the top of the printer itself.

I'm not sure if you know this or not, but will this brace fit the ANET A8 acrylic top brace? Design looks very good and quite handy. Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't. I'm not sure what the dimensions are for that particular printer in comparison to mine.

So wait: what exactly did you do with your electronic board? How much V is it going to be in just one Plug??

I'm not certain what voltage the Prusa requires, but the length of the light strip can be varied to select a smaller number of LEDs, if power is a concern. I haven't had any issues in the week I've been running with this addition. Also, the LED strip isn't plugged into the Rambo board, it's wired directly into the power supply on the side.
