A quick note to those of you that think you can just download something from here and sell it as your own design. I released this under the Creative Commons license that requires Attribution AND non-commercial uses. That means you can't sell it, and you have to give the designer credit when it's used.
Here's a tripod mount for the SIG Kilo 2000 Laser Rangefinder. The only thing out there on the market currently is $75 and there's no way in hell I was going to spend that on this tripod mount. I used these inserts to mount it to the tripod because that's what I had laying around. That's what the model is designed to use. I've also included one that's threaded for 1/4"-20 UNC, which is the standard tripod thread.
I've included the Fusion 360 model, as usual, so you can make your own changes as you see fit.
UPDATE: After printing off a threaded version and having it work very well, I made a couple changes. I made the part 30mm thick rather than 25mm. This will grip the Kilo a bit better and also give a little more meat on both sides of the bottom holes. I deepened the anti-twist hole from 2.5mm to 5mm, and finally, I added a 1mm filet around the entire thing to soften the sharp edges. Finally, I uploaded the latest Fusion 360 file that contains all the changes.
UPDATE 2: I should probably just make this a work in progress... Anyway, I added another file with the SIG Kilo logo on it, just in case you wanted that.
UPDATE 3: On request, I've added a version that has an Arca-Swiss compatible dovetail while keeping the 1/4"-20 threads so you can choose how to mount it. I've also uploaded the F3D file of that design. The Arca-Swiss STLs are no logo, with logo, and with logo and loop on the side.
