What size M3 do you need to put this on? Stock ones dont work..

I used 20mm M3 bolts. 15mm was just a bit too short.

Does anybody else's making a whistling sound? It looks awesome but it's so noisy I don't use it.

You're putting something in the way of moving air. It's bound to make a noise.

Obviously, but whistling takes a pretty specific airflow that isn't normal for this piece. Notice I said whistling not making noise.

Hmmm, that's interesting. What size of fan are you using? I'm using a 40x40x10mm and I don't get any whistling.

Same size fan. It's probably an anomaly in the print that just happened to make a lip or something. I'm gonna smooth it with acetone to see if that gets rid of the rough edges.

I love this thing! I broke a fan when I tried to get a glob of my tip with some tweezers and missed. Two weeks later I did it again! I finally decided I needed a cover. I am a little worried this design doesn't offer enough protection for a moron like me but it was so sweet looking I had to have it. It's a sweet little customization even if you aren't an idiot who continually jams things into his fan blades.

LOL! I did the same thing twice before I decided to print this cover.

hi how low speed? how infill? thanks

I ran it at about 30 to 35, for infill about 40%.
