Can't get the enc file to work. Cura and Slicr3 (or printer) seem to put looped (full extrusion size) strings inside the tube and connect them at one vertical line on the inside. I am a relative newby. Anet A8 with Pla. Considering flashing to Marlin, but would like to get this part so I can connect my shop vac to a cyclone before possibly bricking board.. The other two parts printed fine. Any suggestions appreciated.

I used a makerbot. Do you have a picture of the results? In cura, you can preview the toolpaths in layer view. Does that match what you see?

Got it to work. Added more perimeters/thickness so the two thin walls merged. The inner wall seemed to start above bed and thus was not anchored except at the vertical transition. Maybe I should have flipped it too, so the other end would be on bed. Also slowed down print speed. Also discovered my auto level sensor had died. Anyway it is on my shopvac now. Thanks for replying.

Working well, I hope.

I actually have an entire 2.5 inch dust collection system that I designed for my garage, which I will be posting soon (with Fusion 360 files and .stl's).

I just finished designing and printing the heart of the system, adapters to connect my shopvac hose (2 inch ID) to an inexpensive 5 gallon bucket mounted dust separator (Woodstock W2049), and then to my 2.5 inch dust collection hose.

I just uploaded a new version of the Hose End Fitting to make it2.4 inches rather than 2.5 inches to make it easier to get the hose on it. You just have to make sure you use a pipe clamp
