Hi!
This will work in a ender 3D?

Can you give me your Dual Y configuration code?
The code for your gcode 2 extruder

can I just copy and paste the gcode into S3D and be good to go ot do i have to edit something? this line from the code confuses me "T[old_tool]; Select Old Tool", what do I put where it says old tool?

if you have used f3F can you post the .f3D file plz?

Hi, thanks for sharing! I've printed one and installed it. I'm trying to tweak your toolchange G-Code but it's tricky... I'm using an E3D v6, can you share what model hotend you're using on your printer? Maybe knowing the difference between them will help me understand which way to go in adjusting the toolchange... Thanks!

What exactly are you struggling with. The only thing you probably need to change is the total length of retract and insert.

In my v6 when I use the provided code I get a wider blob - sure it's pointed, but for some reason it then jams when it's being re-inserted... I print at 215C (which may be a tad too hot so I'll try lowering that a bit).

I print PLA at 190. You want to play with the filament and insert it and retract it by hand to see which combination of lengths work best to reduce the strings.

Thanks wookie_666, I think I found the problem: my geared extruders can't handle the F3600 speed - it skips steps. I've lowered the retract/reinsert speeds to F1600 and now it works :D

Excellent. Hope it works for you

Hi! Could you post some more images and possible some test prints? :)

Sorry I don't use this anymore. I have a complete custom dual extruder setup for my printer.
