Do you plan to do the back part? Looks great!

Does this work for the Geeetech printers as well? I can't measure the distance between rods and their height above the ground as I'm at work at the moment =/

As I just found out after coming home: it does not, as the Geeetech printer has the smooth and threaded rod vertically aligned instead of diagonally offset. Bummer. I'll end up constructing my own brace, I can see it coming...

Double check which belt tensioner you are going to use. This one only has two holes and most tensioners are 4 hole.

How are you guys printing this on the standard 200x200 anet a8 bed? No amount of rotation I've tried gets the model to fit.

Standard bed for anet a8 is 220x220x240. It barely fits.

Breaking mine just gave me a good excuse for another upgrade lol. Thanks man

which 4 hole tightener goes with this design

will this work for any Prusa i3?

Love the design. I've just printed the 4-hole version of this along with the 4-hole tightener. Has anyone commented about the prongs of the tightener being too short for use with your frame? That seems to be the case. Any info in this regard would be appreciated.

which 4 hole tightener did you use. I printed one out but it is not long enough

I uploaded a mod to the tightener extending it to a version that works with this. You can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2189059

Hello, I have just finished printing and I tried to mount in the printer.
The problem is that now the hotbed cannot move till the limit because the new frame stopped the bed.

Same here, I decided to just go for https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1857991

Anet A8 Front Frame Brace
by Leo_N

I have printed this nice frame, the two holes version, like your own.
after printing it, I realized that the holes are in an intermediate position on reference of the original, which tensioner have you used? the normal type isn't ok because the belt ran too inclined.
very good job thanks.

Hi, very nice piece, i want to ask you, if you plan to do the back frame.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it is broke, use this.

Looks very good. Will print it.

Looks nice . I hope you enjoy it

Very Very cool! Printed diagonally on the standard A8 bed I presume

Awesome to have a complete one piece replacement for the acrylic piece...I might print one of these up to keep as a spare "just in case"

Great design!!!!

Hey , yup diagonally on the heatbed. Theres not much space left but it fits.
Thanks for your comment. It really helped me to strenghen the frame and to screw down to the table with solid M8 Scews, washers and nuts.

Looks good, would prefer a version with the four holes of the y-belt-tension ...
Possible? ^^

Shure, no Problem. I´ll upload it

Great, better than modify some one's design.

Besten Dank ...

Hey ist hochgeladen.
Sollte so passen.

Das war rasant. Werde aber erst heute Nachmittag zum Druck kommen ^^
