I was lied to as a child. They told me Abraham Lincoln invented these rather than DaVinci.

I have having a issue with the cross braces lifting up off the printed base.

There are a lot of discussions on and suggestions for solving adhesion issues (try google). In many cases, the nozzle-to-bed distance at z=0 or the bed temperature appear to be important parameters. Good luck!

Cool! My grad school had massive cabinets full of mathematical models... and I've heard there are similar collections of mechanical models (I.e. simple machines). This fits well in that tradition!
