How can i make sure that the stepper will not fall down with out the last screw?

Watch the video and you will notice he sticks his fingers inside the case where the opening is and holds it while taking out the screw.

I have had to shove my little tube piece back in every time I change color filament. has anyone had issues with the tube getting ripped out when you change filament?

Robin7331, what about printing your own separate tube instead of cutting it from the original part?

Fantastic! Thanks for the file and the YouTube Video. I am a complete beginner with 3d printing. I have had my Monoprice Select Mini v1 for 4 days and thanks to you my machine is currently printing my first TPU part with no problems at all. I printed the feeder base with ABS as I have only a tiny bit of PLA. It is fine dimensionally but there is a bit of delamination. I will print another part soon. Great job!

Love it! Works fine with my V2 even with the smaller nut. Not issues even with a 10 hour print! Thank you!

Also works for the Monoprice Mini Delta!

Hi , thanks for sharing your work and the excellent video. I got quite noticeable z axis lines on this model is it the STL? My other prints come out very smooth.

Hi there, I wanted to ask if you can release the source files for remixes? Also in the video I noticed you had something on the filament before it inserts into the arm, would you mind sharing what that is?

Would you be willing to modify this to allow the tension to be adjustable? Or alternatively would you release the original design files?

Works great! Went from print 5mm/s with occasional jams to 25mm/s without any issues. :) Could probably go faster.

Installed fine on the latest V2 unit. The nut before the bowden tube is about half as thick as yours, but the outer dimension was still correct so it still worked.

One suggestion would be to design a printable part for that piece of bowden tube. Easily spent 30 mins fussing with it before I got it right.

can you still print PLA with this mod so not to change it back to previous setup?

Excellent! Most useful addition to the MPSM I've found and well designed.

Thank you. I appreciate that!

Thank you! The best thing I've printed and added to my MPMS!

I made one for my MP Select Mini and it works like a champ. Got rid of the tube deflection due to thin sheet metal.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/182053425035 I use these fittings and push the PTFE thru them and makes for a single piece for semi flex or flex .

I have 2 minis and both have this mounted to them

how do you mount that fitting to the extruder? it has bigger threads than the original?

just twist it in it will thread in no problem little resistant but will tap its own holes

this setup is a dream come true!!!! thank you

Awesome! I'm glad you like it :)

Hey could you please tell me what nut is used for the bowden coupling? I have a V2 and my original extruder did not come with this part so I will have to go purchase it. Just want to make sure I get the right nut. Also from watching one of your other videos I see that you have a Ifixit pro tech tool kit but the link you provided for amazon goes straight to womens eyeliner. Do you have a model number and/or link to the one you have? That way I can insure I get the one with all the necessary tools. Thanks for creating this, I can't wait to install it.

I have a clamp on my current baseplate holding it together while I print this one! Thanks for posting this, I'll be installing when I get home.
