can't metal cover be reused?

Did that cover ever come through?

Hey hey. the screws that come with the kit are too short for those additions. Not sure what their size is to order online. How do you measure them anyway? Thanks!

The M4 x 20 worked well for my printer. I'm thinking of mounting this part on the top holes as it kind of crowds the fan.

Also, my advice to anyone reading this is to attach the fan last as it's very difficult to attach the adapter when the fan is on.

Is this fitted on the Short or regular CiiiCooler

It fits on the short CiiCooler but crowds the fan. It doesn't touch the spinning part however so it should work with either versions.

It more than crowds the fan --- it obstructs it, bottom line, no sugar coating that. I ended up keeping the "part E" PCB cover removed, and took a dremel to the adapter's edge where that plate cover usually screws back in. Otherwise, the fan had a large amount of tension on it, and isn't really able to truly seat into the Ciiicooler properly.

You'll get crazy rattling going on with a Ciiicooler SHORT unless you trim things down on this adapter, print the non-short model, or redesign the short version's mounting hole location.

Instead of using this adapter, can you just screw the pcb bracket onto the two upper holes on the bearing block? That should free the lower two holes up for just the fan.

Sadly, the hot end wires are too short.

Yes, I moved mine up to the other screw holes and the heater wire is now just a bit too short. I plan to extend them because I like the stock bracket better.
