This is a great pistol if you can get it working. I love the look and design but I had so much trouble getting it to function properly. First I had trouble with the piston rod catching. After assembling and disassembling it 20 times I learned that you cant tighten the top middle screws too tight. I didn't have trouble finding a spring like most other people did but I did have trouble with my o-ring sealing inside the tube. I finally just ended up designing and printing my own cylinder. the only other complaints I have are the sharp edges that dig into hand when you prime it and the fact that the handle and trigger guard are uncomfortably small. I printed mine in PLA and it does start to wear and tear after disassembling and reassembling it so many times. the front also started to bulge out and crack from the piston head impacting it (even with rubber glued to it. One last piece of advice if you do get it working is only load your nerf dart halfway into the barrel. I don't want to discourage anyone from printing this but If you do decide to then be ready for a lot of troubleshooting. PS I did design a holster for this pistol but it requires that you glue a round magnet inside the gun. the magnet should go in the slot above the 14.5mm x 65mm x 1mm spring and should be positioned closest to the rear of the gun. you might want to fill the space around the magnet with hot glue or some other filler.

I haven't sanded inside of the cylinder yet, but after printing it's inside diameter is 24.80mm and the piston's outside diameter is 22.15mm, after sanding that cap will just increase. Am I missing something? I don't think that will work.
I also had problems finding just the right front spring. Bought bag of same diameters except wire being 2mm thick, the spring is waaay to strong for this.
Well, this has been good project to teach my son some troubleshooting and patience :)

After long and hard searching for the main spring, it would be cheaper to buy big Nerf gun than to build this. Those springs are very very hard to find and when you find them, you get to pay over 50 euro for pack of 10. The gun will not work with other size spring, I tried couple of different. Also, couple of printed parts have wrong diameters in them, you need to do a lot of troubleshooting. I can't recommend anyone to print this, it's just easier to design your own nerf gun from scratch!

Awesome, thanks for sharing! My cousins will love it. :D

What exactly is the rubber part that absorbs the impact?

could u take a version for normal plate 20x20 cm?

BOM or where you sourced your parts please

Very awesome design!!!!!

Any luck finding the right springs?

bought all parts at amazon in the third picture you can see some info about them
