Incredible design. Hope you will come up with new ones from the latest movies from Star Wars.

Yeah other bits just don't fit, the silver tolerences are off, the bits that go into the feet won't fit (side bits), far too small with no depth.

This model was designed to be printed with palette. If you are printing each color individually you're going to want to scale the detailed pieces to 99%.

99% is still too large, I'd suggest 97-98%

Printing this now, how exactly do the feet stick together? Holes in the bottom of the gonk but none in the 'shoes'. Glue?

We got ours to just press fit, but a dab of super glue could work.

The top of the feet are solid with nothing to press fit... there are gaps in the droid but it the feet...

Yeah the model was designed to be printed in multicolour with palette. So if your print each color individually they would have to be glued or you could print the feet all one color or if you really wanted the silver you could pause the print and hot swap the filament.

Christ, that explains why all the models aren't print ready in so much as being placed on the bed. This isn't a print friendly model at all.

They are print ready, for a Pallet. All of the models I have printed with my Pallet 2. Worth every penny seeing my sons face when I pull off a freshly printed toy for him. Had 2 weeks of downtime and spend ~$275 for TH3D's ripoff E3D dual or Cyclops "all-metal" hot end, an hour to set/reset just to fail another test print within 5min and reset all over again. Pallet 2 had 4 color and/or material printing near flawless within 24hrs. Now with my calibrations dialed-in I will never go back. Don't waste your time and your money doing what I did. If your printer runs fine with single nozzle and extruder, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and get a Pallet 2. ;)
@MosaicManufacturing keep up with the awesome models, I love them all and Canvas gets better by the day! You guys are awesome!

Hey TheMentor1337, thanks for the kind words! We're very happy to hear that your son has been enjoying the Palette prints that you've been creating for him.

Sorry about that like I said these are designed to be printed all together multi-color. If you're interested I can share the original OnShape files with you and you could optimize them to be printed then assembled?

We got ours to just press fit, but a dab of super glue could work.

See here.... http://i.imgur.com/5C6GhSi.jpg how are these feet supposed to attach?

http://i.imgur.com/qw4pFSg.jpg you're missing the little silver legs.

I don't think you're understanding...

I have the silver legs, but there is no way to fit the feet, they push into the body sure, but they don't attach to the feet in any way.

So you're saying these have to be glued?

I just downloaded and opened the files in cura, and the parts are split up into colors, and they are floating all over the place. No way to lay them flat on the bed properly to print each piece optimally.
