Excellent design.
I wanted a robust design you delivered.
Thanks,
Skelo
I wanted to tip you, for such a great design.

i ned to replace the buckle on my backpack chest strap, which has a 1 inch strap. What size of strap was the buckle designed for?

Printed in both ABS and PLA, both work great. Tried at both 40% fill and 20%, the 40% are a little tough at first but I feel like I could get alt more miles from them.

I use them to hold my skeg on my kayak and they hold up very well after a month of almost daily abuse.

An ingenious design meant just for a 3d printer.

A little remixing and I made a survival bracelet. You never know when 7 feet of paracord might come in handy.
I kept the original latching part which works great and just changed the loops to one per end.

Printed well. Took a little while to get it to smoothly work, but after buckling and unbuckling a hundred or so times it works like a charm! Held my fanny pack together. Very cool concept for the mechanism too with the top-down button. Only thing I will say is that it is a little bulky

Great design, Chris. It printed with ease. A friend needs a couple for a restaurant near his house that has some booster chairs whose buckles are broken. I'm thinking of remixing it a bit to make it easier to use for repair of a broken buckle. I'd like some way to attach it to the existing web loop without too much trouble. Maybe a recessed screw in the end of the buckles that will allow you to remove screw, slide it through the loop and put the screw back in to securely attach the belt to the buckle.

Printed first time, and I've been wearing it for months. Thanks!

Often, making leather belts, the most expensive part is the buckle. To 3d print the buckle means that you can make a leather belt at a fraction of the cost.

Or just 3d print the whole thing. Belt and buckle. Belt with ninjaflex or recreus and buckle with abs.
