good thing for use great job I have a special question for you did you do a special and future design for the holder thanks.

Great job, mine was made from a 3rd party 3d printing service.

I'm concerned about the elastic rubber band being a bit stretched when googles rests in stand. Do you think it will weaken over time ?

I wanted to let you know that someone is selling your design on Etsy. If you can please take a minute to report this listing to Etsy.

Thanks for letting me know. Reported!

Awesome! Thank you for that. The more people I can get to report them the better chance we have of taking his site down.

Very nice design!
Great thing to print, i'm loving it.

Screw Cap for Playstation VR Stand

good job !
but for the new version?

Guess it will also work for the new version, since there was no change in how you wear it. Maybe someone who has one can confirm that?

Well balanced. Works well for Microsoft Mixed reality headsets (at least the Lenovo Explorer) as well.

Love the design, I just wish the top was a "tray" design instead of a "head fit".

What I mean by that is the front of the top has a tray to rest the goggles vs putting it in the head mount. (if that make sense?)
(like the "Collective Minds" example if I can say the brand name here?)

Not sure that the foam/padding in the headset would hold up long term like that vs resting in a tray?

Any chance for a "tray" PSVR_Top.stl to fit this? ;] (just starting to learn to design/draw or I would attempt myself.) (Yeah, newbie...) lol

I reckon it would fall of this tray, because of the design of the VR.

Another crude 2 min drawing with "crayons" ;]

This PC doesnt have photoshop, and only paint or I would have rotated the "top" about 20 degrees back. Just cut n paste with what I had.

(I have to get learning how to do this myself) ;] im chomping at the bit. What design SW do you use just out of curiousity?

Not sure I follow as it doesnt fall off the "Collective" one. Shouldn't be a weight issue, because the design could be minimal like this:

(Sorry for the crude quick sketch, but thinking something like this) (if this makes sence?

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't have time to even look at your pictures until now. (busy times)

This way it would indeed work. However, I think its not necessary since my VR is on this stand since over a year now and the foam is happy with it. of course it looks deformed when you take it of the stand, but it goes back to normal quickly.
Apart from that, I am really sorry, that I dont have enough time to work on custom desgins anymore. :-(

No worries, at all!. Thank you for even looking, and for your responses.

  1. Im trying to learn fusion 360 now to attempt myself.
  2. Might be a creative idea for inspiration for another.

Just trying to contribute where I can to an already great design. Thanks again for creating it!

Thank you for this nice stand. Great work.

great design, printing one for a buddy now, thank you

Can this be made on 150 x 150 bed?

The Base is larger unfortunately. I can cut it to 150mm if you want. Then you can glue the parts together.

Yes please im using a da vinci mini wireless. 150mm3 build.

I will do it, but it will take some days.

Done. Hope it will work on your printer.

Playstation VR Stand - splitted for Printers with 150mm print volume

Thanks Cj :-)

fyi: I updated the top part so it fits to the PSVR more snug.

Very excellent work! I'm glad to see that my design has sparked others design inpirations. You did a great job making this and I congradulate you on your good looking and sleek headset stand!

I'll see what I can do. Might take some while.

Be nice if you could make it a wall mount kind of design

Thanks. :-)
Sure, why not! Done.
