so wich E3D mount are you using with this? on mine the nozzle is a little bit above the fan ducts

I've got one of the aluminum mounts from 713 maker. Are you running a V2 or a V3? The dimensions of the tabs should be the same, but the height of the nozzle may vary... Can you use a different length standoff to mount it with?

do you have reference for a suggested fan? or is 5015 the generic style number?

I'm actually not very pleased with the CFM (flow) that I'm getting out of the ones I've got. Let me know if you find any that are awesome, and I'll do the same.

i STILL haven't found a great solution to the fan problem on my rostock. the stock fans whistled, and weren't really what i wanted. i printed some others, and they didn't fit between the arms. the new HE280 has fans as built, but they don't blow on the extruded plastic, so i am not getting the overhang results I want.

this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1700221
is OK, but not great.

i love the design of this one:
but it doesn't fit between the arms of my printer, so can't use it. 1700221 itself is a little too wide, but it is passable.

what I really want is the outflow end of 973823, that fits something like a 40x40x10 squirrel cage, and actually fits the platform of a late-model V2 or V3.

Somebody did a remix of my triple duct effector that's for the barbells that the HE280 has. I'm not sure exactly what configuration you have, but some variation of that might be the ticket.
