Just printed these and mounted them; what a fantastic fit, the controllers click right into place. No “wobble” at all. Awesome work!

I printed mine with a .4 nozzle in black PLA. I gave the thin areas extra time to print to ensure good layer adhesion. If I could suggest any improvements, it would probably only be to thicken it a smidge. I might end up applying some resin on the bottom for more strength.

i have made a new version of the design :) just havnt uploaded it yet, thats my bad. ill check it tomorrow and see if ready to go and all.

but i can show you a picture of the design :P
it has a 10 times higher resolution then the old one, and it is alot stronger

new version is uploaded if you want :)

Thanks for the update !

I'm printing it this afternoon with a wall mount for my x box controller and Rift headset.
Time for some tidying up. You will help me get a bit more organized ;-)

I think the update turned out much better then the first version :)

I was just taking a look at the gcode before printing and realized that there is an overhang at the top most part, there will be two lines printed in the air and then a bridge to fill the space between those two lines and the other part.
Which will surely fail as my printer cannot print on air :D
am I doing something wrong when slicing?
here is a (poorly made) photo to demonstrate what i mean:

im not sure what you're doing to get that result, but when i look at it in 'cura' everything looks fine

I have the same issue with S3D and Cura. It wants to print "in the air". I tried many thing but I cannot make it do the bridge first probably because it cannot find foundation for the bridge so it's doing the perimeter first.
I haven't try to print as I do think it will fail.

thanks for the reply.
yeah I've only tried with Simplify3d.
I've printed a remix of your design in another orientation and couldn't be happier with the result.
keep up the good work :)

whoops! apparently it's someone else's remix but the half circle part looked similar to your's ^^

Oculus touch dual wall mount

The touch mounts are really cool, but how are you mounting the xbox controller and headset?

Great design, highly recommend.

Work great. Really hold the controllers securely yet are easy to retrieve and replace.

Glad it works for you, please post a picture of the mount/setup :)

Why is your right controller on the left and left controller on the right?

Which orientation did you print these? did you use a lot of support material with the round side down or did you print it with the open side on the bed?

I didnt use support nor brim, i printed it with the wallmounted/wallfacing part down if that makes any sense
