This is a retainer clip for a Delta printer bed. It can be mounted on a 2020 extrusion frame.
You will need the following:
- 3 x m3 screws/bolts
- 1 x m3 hammer nut
- 1 x m3 nut
- 1 x m3 nyloc nut
- compression spring sized for an m3 bolt
Print out the mount and the clip.
connect the mount and the clip using an M3 screw/bolt and an M3 nut. The M3 bolt should go through the long slot on the clip, allowing for adjustment of the clip in and out.
Insert a longish m3 bolt into the short hole on the clip. Slide the compression spring onto the bolt from underneath, and screw on the nyloc nut upside down onto the bolt so that the thin/small end is facing down onto the glass.
- mount the assembled clip onto the 2020 extrusion using an M3 bolt and an M3 hammer nut.
You'll want to print the mount with supports.
The clip won't need supports.
I think the assembled clip can be positioned far enough away from an heated bed to allow for PLA to be used to print it. Otherwise go for PETG, ABS, or HT PLA.
