I had problems with that print whole engine section fell off when i was removing supports.

Any update to patching this model, would love to print it, but it has missing geometry or 0mm thick walls.
Any tips to print this as is?

It looks cool but the mesh is full of holes and disconnected edges. I would have loved to print because I fly a Python myself and wanted a model. Guess I'll keep looking for another model.

Can't wait to print this, my boyfriend is a huge fan :)

Thanks! Closed vents would be great, my printer has a lot of trouble on that and they end up breaking off anyway. I'll give a reprint a whirl as soon as you update, I love this ship in ED and want to get a real life model. :)

How do you recommend printing this? I tried many ways but it always fails.

I print it vertical - but there are some geometry errors. I am going to fix the model soon. The plan:

  • Remove the vents for easier printing / open or closed config
  • Split the engine section into a separate piece to make vertical printing easier w/o supports

I will update it when it's done :)

Did you manage to get an update posted? I'd love to print this.

Really nice model.
Were some problems with printing engines, but all ok.

Working on that now :) Will have separate cones for the print, the supports totally screw them up (vertical). Also a geometry error in there somewhere, Cura doesn't always sprint them the right size.
