For the DomCode software conference 2016 in Utrecht we wanted to print 3D models of the Dom Tower. We couldn't find this as a 3D model so we made one ourselves. The tower is modelled on sketches of the tower to make sure that the proportions are correct.
We have successfully printed the model on 2 different M3D printers both in ABS on a heated bed and using PLA.
We have added a model without the Infi and Domcode text!
Without a support structure the clock may sag a bit, but there is no cleanup needed.
Maybe it will print nicer with support structure but we have not tried this yet.
