Thanks for your hard work on making this thing, Love your design and printed it out and painted it https://www.thingiverse.com/make:556152

I did make one add-on piece, a ring that is glued to the bottom so that the core cannot pass all the way through. I did this because I will be storing dice in it and didn't want the core slipping out when being transported.

Hey! I've made remix of this for my version of the three path dice tower: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2953592
But I just saw that your license doesn't allow derivatives and was wondering if it would be ok to post a remix anyway / change the license? If not I'm absolutely cool with that and won't share the files!

Yeah, it's cool! Just don't want people selling this designs on the street. Hack away at the design and have fun!

Rocketspaceboy, I have 'remixed' this, if its cool I will share it.
I fed your model into Meshmixer, cut the tower in half down the middle, then mirrored it, rejoined it so I would have a tower without the face on it, then I joined copied those 4 times and created 4 'turrets' around the center piece so it looks more like the actual Castle Grayskull. Then I made a solid 'lid' for it.
If its ok with you, I would like to share it but obviously give full credit to you.

Sounds Cool...! I'd love to see it. Did you print it yet? Sure post it. Must have taken a lot of work to modify. ;)

Ok, I just posted it.

Hope you like it mate, yours is AWESOME. A real flash back to my youth hehe

Castle Grayskull

Looks Cool...! Thanks for giving me credit.

Yeah, took a while hehe.
Biggest thing was rendering, I made the 'lid' but dropping circles into the top of the turrets then subtracting the turrets from the disc's so it would interlock nicely, the subtraction took ages for some reason. I think too many Boolean edges.
I have printed it, I will add images to the file when I post it (in the next few minutes)

Thank you for this awesome model!
I made one and painted it: https://www.thingiverse.com/make:376268

Does anybody have an idea for a cool looking dice tray that fits the theme?

Dice receiver for GraySkull Dice Tower
by ExaZ

Ok first off this is a great piece. I was wondering why there isn't a door/draw bridge that comes down and would allow the dice to fall onto the mouth as the traditional castle toy? That is the only thing I can think of that would complete this masterpiece.

I actually have a design in mind to do this. I however wanted to keep it simple and not over burden the concept. One of the ideas was to alter the inner core so it would look like a door when you rotated it inside the cylinder. The other was to do exactly like you mentioned and have a hinged drawbridge jaw. A third idea was to have a base that it sat in as well that would have a rocky out cropping that included a drawbridge jaw role way for the dice. I make do an MKII someday with that in mind, but for now I'm actually planning some more He-Man inspired gaming things... ;)

Yeah i think even a base that the tower sits in works well fo the dice to stay contained to ine spot. I can't wait to see what you create next. Huge He-man fan.

Great piece, and very functional. I was wondering which program you used to sculpt the figure. Thanks!

Hi, I used 123D Design, Lightwave, and ZBrush all together.
