There appears to be something wrong with both the "arms" part and the "shell2" part. The slicer thinks the top is the bottom and vice versa. Is there a reversed normals issue with those parts?

I have a dual extruder but I can't get slic3r to align them correctly. I ended up having to edit the stl to add a small square starting at z0 off to the side. This kept the z position of the shell/torso up high where it should be. I then had to manually move it around to align the two. It printed ok but there were a lot of manual steps to get something to work.

Is there an easier way?

I have a Flashforge Creator Pro which can dual extrude. I am new to this so I'm unsure which files to use to get the finished print. Can I print the whole two-colour Squirtle in one print? Please advise if you wouldn't mind :)

I like the filament colors you've shown in your picture a lot. Could you tell me what kind of filament you're using?

How do you make a single print multiple colors? I use Zortax, and it can't pause. Is that why you put it into multiple parts? Thanks for letting me know. I still go to high school, and in a certain class there's a 3D printer and so far we've only been able to make anything one color.

He used a dual extrusion system that allows two different filaments to be used

Oh, that or just looking at the parts, it looks like you could have printed certain parts one color, then print the others the other color you wanted.

duel eyes is actcually the shell
the arms in the body are also corrupt

Yes, you're right, it's my fault. :D The "eyes" are the shell. And about the arms in the body, if you refer to the "eyes" file, it's not corrupt, it's the shape it has, and the real arms are in the other file (squirtle_dual_body).

I actually just came here to see if anyone else had the trouble with the arms. I printed the dual model today and wound up with an armless squirtle.

When I look at squirtle_dual_body in the plater in slic3r and rotate my view, it's this weird experience like the arms are inside-out.

And in Repetier's viewer, they come up as green instead of blue like the rest of the model.

Maybe the faces on the arms are reversed?

J'adore! Going to try printing this little guy out soon :)
