I just updated to the extruded aluminum frame - and sure enough, my big thick thumbwheels are interfering.

Thanks for this! It's exactly what I needed!

Except I still had to dremel off a couple mm from the diameter. MAN I'll be happy when I can get this printer dialed in...

I've wondered; why not loose the springs, fixate the screw with a washer+nut, just below the heatplate, and place one thumbwheel on each side of the h-frame?
With 8 of your thumbwheels, it should be a breeze and stiffen the bed considerably.

Under the Print Settings there is a note:
"Has a built in support ring that you should be able to push out with a 2.5mm hex wrench. "

can it be printed with a 0.4 nozzle? i pribnted a set and they look too small and can not remove the pilar :(

Great Thing!
It works perfectly on Anet A8 as well.
I feared that the grip was not good, but actually it is better than that of your bigger wheels - they don't fit on the A8 :-(
They are small and neat, very well done!
Only one remark: I would have printed the figures in ascending order clockwise. My logic: the higher the figure, the bigger the distance between nozzle and bed. Anyway, they fork fine...
I will post some photos of my makes

I can't get the support out :s

Printing too hot? First layer too low? Over extrusion? I've perinted over a dozen and the suppprt popped out with a good whack from a 2.5mm hex wrench. Hmmm.

Managed to get it out, just needed a bit more force lol. Works well, thanks

Yay! A good whack helps. ;)
