what did you use to fix the armor on the shoulder? an elastic band under the arm doesnt feel confortable, i was thinking of a larger elastic band goin across the chest/back. how did you do it?

I've used the same way as real armor , glue a band of leather inside the top plate this strap go on a buckle sew on the costume... for child version I used two small hole on the border of the top plate and sew it directly... the other option is using a y strap ( if you look at my other armor design you would see picture of this(similar to the cross chest/back design you're talking about)
