HI! Any idea why my printer is filling the coin gap instead of leaving it empty? (beginner here, don't hate)

That's not a UK Penny... the slot is a little thin but way too narrow!

:/

I've tried out a good few bottle opener designs over the years. The only one that comes anywhere close to this simple classic in actual effectiveness on a wide range of beers is the "Brain" bottle opener by Ahasuerus http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24345http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... so I'm prepared to call this design a classic.

Brain bottle opener

Nice piece that printed well. I found the NZ 5c coin just a tiny bit big for the penny version. A quick blast on the coin from a blowtorch and it slid into place perfectly (never to leave I suspect).

Given the Kiwi affinity for a beer to celebrate success, this might be my 1st print on new machines to toast their arrival.

I got bored while it printed - and opened the beer with pliers. Damn, now I need another beer to test it on...

Sounds totally like something I would do, if I were of drinking age.

You should put a hole through it somewhere like the old one, so it can be hung on a wall (also uses slightly less plastic)

Thanks for that, it was my first time! ;)

Brilliant idea embedding an off the shelf (or out of the pocket) metal part to get the strength.

coming from you, i am truly honored! :)
