Can you split the files? You could get a lot better prints by doing so.

I second this, all the parts except my head came out great. I need to reprint the head only. Can we get an export of the individual models?

Never mind. Just found out the Prusa edition of Slic3r, probably any version of Slic3r will allow you to do a split. I was then able to just print the neck and head piece. So there is that if you are looking to split out the different pieces.

Import stl > select stl > rclick > split

Can you put the parts in seperate files? every time i try to print everything is kinda squished togetehr

What slicer program are you using ?

im just using the maker bot program, im trying to print at school but the legs are kinda high etc.

You will need to Split the model, i dont know if is possible direct in the Markerbot program, but you can Try something like this...

also you can try re-edit the pieces after that, slicing then in two or more parts...

best regards...

Very useful link, thank you!

Thanks, ill try that

excellent work, you seem to have captured him quite well.

Nice looking model, I will print it when I get a printer free. :-)

This would be a nice print if all pieces were in separate stl files.

Is this actually printable as loaded?

Not sure if i get your question, but you can print easily in any slicer program, just need to generate supports and scale ...

I meant, are these oriented and optimized to achieve the best print possible. You do not include a picture of one that was actually printed and there are no makes posted.
Usually a warning sign that the model was not actually designed to be printed.

Yea... is designed to be printed... ,and also, if you realy want to print a model, (any model) you can download and work over him to transform it in a printable one... regards
