Is there any reason you did not make the circle completely smooth(round)? It looks as if you could have use a facetres command in AutoCAD to truly make it a circle. Love the design, and I'm excited to print this!

No real reason-- I just went with a default amount faces. It can be adjusted-- that second line of code

$fn=32;

if you change it to say--

$fn=164;

That'll trickle down and get the smoother effect you are looking for.

(If you don't have OpenSCAD-- let me know I can compile a STL for you.)

Could you compile and STL? I think it would benefit a lot of people! Thank you for the great design!

Give PokeStopIncreasedNumberOfFaces.stl a whirl. I increased the number of faces for the cylinders up from 32.

(I have not tested that new version-- you'll be the first!)

Thank you very much!!!

Great comments on the openscad.
easy to up the axis radius and through hole for structural stability
2 and 2.5 respectively seem to be enough to keep me from breaking it

I am thrilled to read you were mucking in the code. I'm glad someone saw all those comments. : ) And I am pleased they were helpful!!!!

Woah so cool ! =D
I'll certainly give it a try !

This is absolutely brilliant. Clever design. My friends are going to love it.

This is great, nice work =)
