i was kinda looking for a customizer link for this thing because i want to use this twisted tube version as a lm12uu
which used 12mm ID, 21mm OD, and 30mm length
i was hoping to use normal 4mm bowden tube for this
but i guess you use openscad or something , i only know how to use tinkercad lol

ok i gave it a try and managed to download an stl , but with the right measurements it does not even get close to fit the rods lol
i kinda tracked it down to the ptfe tubes sticking out to far , even though they are set to 0.2 , they stick out far more then 0.2
maybe i have to compensate with the offset ? i dont know
i know for my 12mm rods i have to print bearings at size 12.35mm , so i put that in and 21 OD with 30 mm length and 4mm ptfe tubes , i think its not designed to deal with other ptfe sizes maybe ???

I'm not sure if I understand your question. Are you asking if you could just use the bore pattern of this on a different object without the outer cylinder as a standardized mount? Is that's what you're asking, I suspect it would work and that's in fact what I had in mind when designing this, but I've not tried it. You might have to experiment with fill settings a little to make sure it comes out rigid and straight.

Yes. I really like this bushing and the choice of options is great.
With the choice of even bigger outer diameter etc and the fixing plate on the back, this should greatly reduce weight and have a far greater support than the lm8uu gives.

Hi Ryan is it possible to remix this with your settings in jscad for the under the heat bed. No metal casing. It would help reduce the weight?
I've made these and added the spiral for far better support. Works very well I also used 1.5mm O/D PTFE which I have hundreds of metres of for cabling why I used your design. Works great

P.s i use a very tight fit and then use a heat gun to relieve it for a perfect fit. If that helps anyone
