Is there a reason the cone of the fan duct is so thin? Printing with a 0.5mm nozzle means it only has a single layer, I figured it would be at least 1 or 1.5mm thick.

can this be printed in petg?

The fan duct STL has intersecting surfaces and doesn't print correctly in S3D. Would recommend fixing this or use the S3D trick that fixes this for slicing (Mesh > Separate Connected Surface).

So this will work now with a standard bed?

I have not had the problem with bed height that the other commenters have mentioned. When installing the mount on my printer, I just gave the bed leveling screws a couple extra turns each and it fit fine.

I've uploaded a new version of the mounting plate that trims the length to eliminate the interference mentioned by commenters.

The choice of a 40mm fan vs. 30mm was deliberate, I wanted more airflow than a 30mm could provide.
I have not experienced the issue with the nozzle being too high, though I do use a PEI build surface that adds about 3mm to the build plate thickness.

For the m3 mounting screws, if you want to clamp all the way through the mount, 30mm should do it. That said, I found on my printer that the threads of the bolts alone provided enough clamping force to hold the hotend securely in place without actually clamping nuts on it, so I didn't bother using any.

Hey there. The mounting plate is too long on the bottom edge; it hits the lip of the black frame. What length M3 screw do you need to fasten the clamp? 20mm doesn't make it.

I made this and I have 3 comments:
1) The Fan duct is designed for a 40 mm Fan. The Fan that comes with the Select Mini is 30 mm. You will need an Adapter.

2) Using this mount raised the heater block on my E3D set up. My print nozzle did not reach the print bed. I might work with a thick glass plate, I don't know. Check the measurements between the lower mounting holes and the top of the mounting bracket against the length of the E3D you are using and the z axis limit switch.

3) As with similar mounts it moves the Y axis position of the print head forward to cover the forward bed leveling screws.
