The customizer is no longer working for this Thing.

What do you mean "click create thing"? What in OpenSCAD? It just says "Render" and only makes one, not ten.

Ahh, right. Use the included app in the menu to the side up there. Sorry, still new here.

I'm trying to give this a small square base instead of the base you have. I tried tinkercad and meshmixer and I can't seem to get a square base AND have it hollow. It wants to add the shape of the square inside your original crystal design. any ideas? Thanks.

Try modify the .scad file (you'll need OpenSCAD)

The line 19 sets a semisphere with 6 sides for the base. you can use $fn=4 for a square base. Good luck :)

module crystalrock(){
union(){
semisphere(5,$fn=6); <<-------- Hexagonal BASE
for(i=[1:50]){
angleX = 45;

This is cool, but can we get an option to add stones at the base? I am wanting to use this for gaming terrain and as it is they are likely to be too top heavy. lol

adding a base with random stones it's a good idea.
I can't promise nothing but i'm thinking on a set of different random terrain pieces for games.
Maybe using hexagonal, or rectangular bases??

suggestions are wellcome.

Thanks for making this! I used this to generate a bunch of cool crystal figures for playing tabletop RPGs with my family.

Just a note: I added a "cylinder(h=1,d=12);" to the union to give a better, less tippy base.
