I gotta say, this works surprisingly well. I scaled the smallest version down to 54% and I can fit my ipad/cellphone charging cable in there perfectly. And it printed in only 26 minutes! Love the simplicity, and I most of all I love that I can wrap a 10' cable on such a tiny print! I only printed 3 so far and my house is looking tidier already.

This'll be excellent for all the XLR cables I have in a sound and light booth I operate, thanks! I love how simple this is, it's quite amazing.

One question, do you have any ideas as to how this could be modified to hang from a screw in the wall, just so it doesn't bulge out as much?

Thanks again.

Thanks for your positive comments about my design... the aim was as small print and simple as possible. I usually just put my coiled cables on a bench / shelf. However, you could hook it up using one of the sections that joins the two sides. These make handy hand holds when you are carrying them around so could easily be used for hanging as well. Beyond that it would need a specific fitting added. Easy enough to do but everyone will need something different to suit there needs... but on Thingiverse the more universal the better so hopefully you can make it work as is.

All the best.

I did a few for all the cables lying around, turn out good. Thanks for the file.
