So if this was scaled for a chess set @ 75% would a 100% scale chess set require this box printed at 125% scale?

For a 100% scaled chess set, you will need to scale this box 133.33%.
It should probably work, but I don't know if the lid will fit as well, cause it will also scale tolerences gap, wall thickness etc...

That did the trick, thanks! I'll post my make.

Any posibility to get the file for the lid or box so that i can customize it in fusion 360 (sry if this is possible from beforehand). Would love to be able to put some text on it to make a more personal christmas present :)

I've added the *.scad file. Hope it's gonna help.

Hi, i Dont Change Chess Set Scale, And For It, Now I Print these File Without Any Change Is True ?

would this still work printed at 70% scale?

ok i just saw that you asked the same question to Ethan for his alien chess set. I printed his chess set at 75% and this box is made to contain the alien chess set scaled at 75%! So you don't need to scale it...this is the right size for you.

Thanks for commenting back the reason I'm asking is because I only have a 120×120 mm print surface so I wanted to scale the box down so I'd be able to print it, and I figured that would mean I'd need to scale the chess set down and also the board, and suggestions?

May be you can try to scale the lid like mentionned, and for the box use the same X&Y scale, and upscale on Z axis (maybe 125-135%??).

If I were you I would first print the Chess set and Chessboard to the wished size, then I'll look for a good box size...maybe use this one, or print 2 simple boxes.
This customizer might help you :

Simple fully customizable box.

hmmm honestly i don't know...
The gap between the box and the lid will also be scaled at 70% so it might works but it will be harder to close and open.
Also the horizontal wall of the lid might be to thin scaled at 70%. If you want to try it, scale the lid at 70% only on X&Y axis, keep the Z axis at 100%.

Where does the dice go??? :o) heh heh heh
