Has anyone tried this on other size (1/8", 3/16") glass? I assume the screws need to line up with the center of the glass?

Ideally yes. You might see the glass chip/crack/break if it's too much pressure on/near the edge. I know there is a remix floating around for thinner glass.

I made a remix of a M4 Socket Head thumbscrew to fit M3 Socket Head Bolts that works well with this...http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2113742

Thanks for sharing!

What software did you use to design? I have an idea that might be cool. Replacing the bolts for size adjustment with printed ones and thread the holes.

As a Engineering student, I have access to NX 10, which is what I used here.

As for printed bolts and threaded hole, unless it's printed out of ABS, heat may be an issue. Also, printing small bolts and threads is rather difficult.
