How do you get the stopper to fit on the crossbar?

Ideally you'll want to print it in a flexible/semi-flexible material (i.e. TPU). If you can't then it would need to be installed prior to assembly of the catapult. If it's an after thought then heat the part up with a hair dryer or heat gun (get a hot pad mitt and protect those fingers!) and slip it on before it cools.

I don't think there is any way to install it before assembly. However, thanks for the advice! Purchased semiflex and it works beautifully!

Definitly recommend printing the crossbars at 106%. I printed the model at 50% of the original size and the crossbars at 53%. Don't use support when printing the side structure otherwise the arme holders will stick.

The balls are not printed I presume? What are they and what diameter do they have?

Nerf Rival ammo. They look like small foam golf balls.

Perfect, thanks!

I just printed the left and right brace, then a single crossbar and the crossbar is SUPER loose in the dovetail slots. Not sure that was intentional or not, but just FYI to anyone printing it, that's what I experienced. Needed to increase the width 106% to get it to fit without slop.
I used a Monoprice Maker Select (Wanhao Di3 v2 clone) and it prints a 20mm cube at (x/y/z) 20.01x19.99x20.01mm right now.

The original design is loose and perhaps made worse when I increased the size of the original by 165%. If you found the sweet spot for the cross members then I'll adjust and upload. I used some gel based super glue, series of rubber bands and left it to cure over night.

Yup, 106% was perfect! Just enough to have to apply a bit of pressure to get the cross bars in. The arm I left alone as it was just sitting in the pivots anyhow, they did fit a bit loose, but I didn't think it would matter. Not sure what I'm going to do about the bumper part yet, I can't print flexibles at the moment. Need to upgrade to the e3d Titan first I suppose.
