Any chance that you could create a 50mm EDF design suitable for a 3S 1108 size 6800KV motors? I'm looking for all the lift I can get out of a quad on that platform, and so far the best I can manage is about 300g/motor.

i would need the measurements for the motors you have however. usually the manufacturer has 2d files of their products, if you send those to me (send me a private message here and i can provide you with an email address and/or skype for further contact), it would make everything go very quickly.
The new blisks (Blade Disks for short) i've created recently have a taper and twist to the blades. It should be much more efficient than the blisk files i have here. I haven't gotten around to doing fluid simulations yet. however i do have everything setup to do a thrust test on a benchtop. My guess is that with my FDM printer it would take around 4-5 hours print time to make one of the blisks at 0.1mm resolution.

I know it's been awhile, but I'm just getting into 3D printing. I am into edf jets and was looking at doing this. Are the screws that are in the files, needed or can I use my own? Is there a blade to be printed or is any 80mm fan blade ok?

the screws were just there for the assembly in Solidworks. i think you'll notice there aren't threads on anything....

The actual Fan is missing in the files :o At least in .stl format :/

Currently there are no plans to upload the 9-stage compressor design. Simply put, even without an afterburner, it produces too much thrust to be put in the hands of most people. let's contact off this website (email) and i'll explain in detail why.

The same motor that's used on other 80mm-120mm EDFs should suffice. I haven't actually touched this model in a while as i've been focusing on a multi-stage compressor design which also includes an afterburner. My goal is to produce an 80mm EDF with 9 stages (multi stage compressor) with an afterburner which can produce around 50kg of thrust.
