any tips for supports for this cause it doesn't look like it can print without supports

Great looking model! Any tips for print settings? Infill, support settings, etc?

Read your description in the rein voice lol! BRING ME MY HAMMER, printing this guy for a gamer friend <3 thanks for sharing!!

Please post an image when you complete it! Love seeing other people’s successes.

Just a tip for printing this guys, on the pole for the hammer, put down some manual supports around the base. Even with a raft, the surface area is too small to weld the bottom of the print securely. When you're about 80% through you have a good chance of having your extruder push the print a little, resulting in a curve at the top which keeps the nub which goes into the hammer from being strong enough to hold the hammer, if it stays attached to the rest of the pole at all.

Turned out great though! I just had to cut the messed up tip and superglue it to the hammerhead anyway.

Great suggestion. I printed the hammer staff and head at the same time. Both on rafts with supports. I positioned the staff vertically such that the pommel was down. This allowed for a pretty sturdy raft/support structure.

Also by printing the hammer at the same time, that allowed the PLA to cool sufficiently.

How did you make the darker areas look aged?

What did you use to glue the parts together?

Just a touch of super glue between the pole and hammer head.

First position the pole in the hand, then attach the hammer head.

would this work with PLA?

It was printed in Copperfill which is PLA.
