I made some changes to the tentacles, and the ends. They are much stronger and print much better.

Note, you still need 8 End pieces.
You can choose to print however many of the links you wish.

What scale are this model compared to Ellindsey's Ball-joint articulated octopus ?
I would like to combine those two :-)
This one seems to be a bit larger than Ellindsey's

Cool! I believe the scale up is 1.5 from the original.

yes it is... just printed your arms with a scaled up (150%) version of original octopus and it worked flawlessly. Thanks again for this great remix.

lots of intersecting shells in the head section. doesnt print quite right using simplify 3d. needs to be repaired before printing

I'd like to see that with flexible material

SOMEONE HELP!!!! I tried making the legs on my school's 3D printers (Lulzbot mini) and I broke all of the leg pieces. The program we use is Cura and i can't figure out how to make a brim. I tried on high and standard resolution. Both with no support structures but the high resolution had a brim but not a raft. Could someone tell me how to print a raft like he did in the video?

Does this require supports?

I didn't use supports or rafts and it came out great with polylite PLA

I used supports (I think it ended up being 2 supports) for the head only and they separated easily. I printed it on a Replicator 2 with blue PLA and it turned out beautiful. Not sure if they are required though.
