Update: The part is fixed!!! I put recesses in the back so you wont have to worry about the button heads bolts rubbing on the rails.

I'll have to print one of these out to see if it'll work on the MakerFarm i3v. I've been trying to design my own, but I have to wait for the extruder to arrive to see if I have the mounting holes too high or not.

Edit: I didn't need to print it out. I was able to superimpose the xcarriage plate I designed with this one in Netfabb, and all the holes (except the Toranado mount holes) line up perfectly.

On your printer with this xcarriage, how much negative Z room do you still have when the nozzle contacts the build plate? I want to try to use as much Z as I can.

Sorry for not getting with you right away!! But the -z with the 8mm rods and the coupler that comes with the kit. 5mm from the top of the motor to the bottom coupler. With the nozzle touching the bed I still have 9mm to play with.

If you wait a few hours I'll get the holes fixed up here so you don't have to tighten the button heads down till they are flush.

I think I may enlarge the center lower bearing hole and use it as a wire pass-through for all of the extruder/hotend wires.

For anyone having an issue with the print fiting on the rails use m3x16 button head and tighten down till they don't rub. I will fix this issue so you can use normal m3 bolt the file will be spelled correctly and say fixed on it when it is.
