How do you hold the 3D printed object to the board while you move the board to correct position on the saw? I've seen a version for sale for $16 that can be clamped on to the board but it only allows the "left side" miter.

I did not use this thing while positioning the board. I only used it while measuring and making a pencil mark.

For the acute miter, I found that just having the board laying on the work table worked best (my worktable is long enough that the ends of the board was still on the table).

I actually managed all the cuts only measuring from the acute angle, but I did try to measure from the obtuse side using a paint clamp that could reach across the printed thing. This way the printed thing would be fixed to the board. It did work fine, but spending the extra time fiddling with the clamp, and then the board not laying perfectly flat on the table, was just a bit cumbersome.

Do you have a link for the other version you have seen? I would like some inspiration :)

I really like that you are using your printer to solve everyday problems you have. Thank you for sharing your creations!

And thank you for the nice words :)
