Can you please upload the files and directions again? thanks!! :)

Sorry about that! I made an instructable and removed it from my own webpage! Take a look here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Low-Budget-CNC/

Thanks good sir :)

Did you ever CNCed aluminium or carbon fiber?

I did some aluminium as proof of concept. But I would say that it is best suited for wood routing. But maybe it could work with something better than a dremel...

cutting files? Look at my webpage. There I have all the resources and instructions :)

Hi nic6911, First off I would like to say thank you for publishing. Second, I would like to list the nice things in your design that I am going to copy for my hobby machine. Using angle aluminum and U-bolts to hold the bearings. Brilliant, fast, cheap, adjustable & reliable. Using pipe as linear rails and structure (as u mention). With inner threaded rod to hold it together. Again, the qualities, fast, strong, cheap, easy. The simple 3 motor design that minimizes part count. Looks strong too. Your design leads to many variants, which is good. Scalability. Again, thanks for showing me some tricks.

Hi Ron.
Thanks for the fine words! I use open source control (GRBL) for my machines, so it seems only fair that I share my design to the open source community :)
I am glad that my design comes to use, and leads to new variants - always interesting to see how things evolve when different minds start developing.

Best regards,
Mogens
