Hi printed and attached to my printer at last.

How did you attach the print cooling fan (the layer cooling fan that is - not the little hot-end fan) ?

Advice please

J

If you're using the fan mount by Isograph (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1571526) it's attached to the outside of the Titan cover using M3 x 35mm cover screws. A picture of the fan mounted that way is shown on Isograph's page for the Fan Mount

E3D Titan Extruder Fan Mount for Prusa i3

Hmm - OK - so these are slightly longer m3 screws than came with the titan ? ie go through the fan mount, the titan and the your holder ?

Do you have a uk online source for the screws ? I have real trouble sourcing M3 of odd lengths ?

Thanks for your time on this - really helpful

G

Sorry, I live 8 time zones away from the UK so can't help with a possible source other than E3D. My Titan came as kit with two 30 and two 35mm length cover screws for optional use dependant on spacer thickness between the stepper and extruder.

Was this OK printed in PLA ?

Yes, that's what I printed in. Layer height is .02.

Good afternoon. I have used the original support from E3D, and I have lost some bed space, since it does not reache the begining of the bed. With this, you still use all of the bed? Thanks!

The design intent centres the hotend on the Hephestos X axis carriage so you will be able to reach all corners of the print bed the same as the original bq print head does.
