Could you please make a smaller stl for the full sized version. I want to edit it but can't import into tinkercad(Needs to be under 25mb), I tried importing all the pieces but I still get a line where I stitch them together and some of the text is missing pieces of letters on the cut up version. Thank you for the model and keep up the good work.

Hi! I was wondering how you did your leather handle? Do you have any additional pictures? Did you just cut the chevroned strips and glue them on (with a seam?)

Got it in one! :) I made a paper template first, traced the chevron pattern onto the leather and cut each out with an x-acto knife. After applying some barge glue (contact cement) to the handle and each chevron, I sewed the "seam" up using gold thread (which was really more for decoration than anything as the barge glue does all the work). Voila!

I didn't post it but I made a one a bit back.. played with it to much and snapped the handle off. I plan to mix it to allow pins through the parts and then print it again.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that! Remix away my friend. :) I'm keen to see what you come up with!

any chance you could upload the handle complete and the head complete? my printer cant quite get both together but it would be nice for the only seam to be in the connection of the handle and the head

I had the same problem. Not quite enough room to print it as one object. I did cut it at the handle and uploaded it as a remix. Working on printing it now.

This is my first comment on Thingiverse. I can't wait to print this. #nerdlife

Rock on my dude! :D Happy printing! #JaneFosterRules #GoddessOfThunder

Thor is a name, not a title.

Tell that to Jane Foster, Volstagg, Beta Ray Bill and the Odinson. ;)

Hi I'm wondering what slicer you're using ...? I tried handle top & bottom on slic3r and it wouldn't print b/c it shows there's gaps and it just stops near the bottom of each print. Is there an error on the stl file for these? Thx.

Hey man! I'm actually using Simplify3D which I think automatically fixes those sort of errors. :)

Maybe you could try running them through https://service.netfabb.com/login.php

Which may catch some of the errors? :)

Nice work!
Do you have a full section of the Hammer?
I have a Z-18 and am able to print full scale. Thanks!

Thank you my friend! :D

I have just made a whole Mjolnir available to you under the filename "Mjolnir (Whole)" but I will leave print orientation up to you as it will be a 90 hour print at 0.3mm resolution (conservatively) with a TON of support material. You will also need to print the "Mjolnir End Cap" separately if you plan on attaching a leather loop on the end of the handle. The loop needs to be screwed down so there wasn't a lot I could do about that one... :)

Best of luck and happy printing!

P.s: Sorry that it took me so long to upload, it took a couple of hours to parse the file to make sure it was error free and will print without any problems. :)

I'd be interested in the whole model if you still have it. I could print this, handle up, in one go.

Hey man! You should be able to find the files for the whole hammer under "Thing Files". :) Happy Printing!

Amazing job on the hammer!

I'm currently modifying a 3D model of a boulder to be the display stand for the hammer.

Is the Captain America shield in the background 3D printed? If so what model did you use to print it??

D'awww, why thank friend! :D I am pretty stoked with how it all turned out. It was such a fun build!

And that's awesome! If you need a basis for your stand, please don't hesitate to remix mine! I will be super keen to see how it all goes. :3

Alas, my cap shield isn't! I am in the process of painting up my brand new spun aluminium shield blank as we speak to replace that one. The one on my wall was a cheapie that I picked up for cosplay as some conventions here in Australia don't like metal props, even with blunt edges...
