The actual hood ornament from the movie in the picture was created by Shawn Thorsson. The build can be found here http://protagonist4hire.blogspot.com/search/label/ghostbusters

Anyone printed it yet? I ran it three times last night with no success. Gets about a third of the way done then the extruder smacks into the side and knocks it free of the base. Thought I was just having adhesion issues but after three attempts ending in the same place I think it might be a slicer error.

May want to grab the updated two-eyed file too. Because I used a bad reference and only gave it one eye.

Just got mine off the printer. It must been a slicer error; I didn't have any problems.

Cool, I'll slice it fresh and try again. Will try with supports as well. Yours came out pretty nice.

How odd... I'll give it a shot tonight and see what happens. It might also be worth funning the .stl through makeprintable and see if that helps. Stay tuned.

Great model, did the movie one also have just one eye?

Just posted a FIX file with two eyes.

Yes, yes. I found a better reference and it has two eyes.

Yeah why does it only have one eye. Close but no cigar.

That picture is from the upcoming movie - it's hard to get a head-on view from the trailer but it looks like it only has one eye, yes.

Keith, thank you, for the original model and the new one. You have skills beyond me and I appreciate you sharing those skills with us. Keep up the good work!
