13x m3 knurled nuts (i used the 5mm dia. ones but can alter the design for you if yours are smaller)
12x m3x20 cap screws (this includes those for mounting to the extruder)
1x m3x40 cap screw
1x m3x25(maybe 30) cap screw
1x m3x15 cap screw
2x m3 washer
2x m3 nut
3x lm8uu bearings
*cap screws, machine screws, button head, it's all good.
Seperate parts in slicer. Print with all bearing surfaces up. Use supports.
Heat and insert the knurled nuts (9 in the back, 2 in the tensioner, and 2 get attached to one 20mm bolt and inserted through the x carriage for the non adjustable end of the belt holding mechanism).
Insert 40mm screw through side of carriage,with a washer on either side of the wall, then simultaneously screw the two nuts and the tensioner onto the screw with the two nuts closest to the screw head. once they are all on the shaft adjust the two nuts up to the carriage wall so that the screw has minimal play but still turns freely. Then tighten the two nuts against each other. turning the screw should now adjust the tensioner back and forth.
screw m3x15 into the tensioner so that it sticks out enough for the belt to loop around.
Gently press the linear bearings into position ensuring they are home and not on an angle. then screw on the lower bearing cover. (6x m3x20 screws) there is no need for this to be very tight, you don't want to squash your bearings.
attach x axis micro switch with the screws that they were originally attached with (m2x8 at a guess)
Attach extruder with 3x m3x20 screws.
attach top bearing cover with 2x m3x20 screws. the other one clamps the bearing and the cable chain.
Install x carriage onto printer.
attach belt in a similar fashion to the original and tighten with the tensioner.
attach cable chain with m3x25(or 30)
Plug everything in.
