Tried to load file but but got a may be corrupted file message...thought you should know.

Hello, apologies for the inconvenience and thank you so very much for your feedback. The file may need repairing. Netfabb is an tool excellent for repairing 3D meshes.

Shapeways has a useful and well organised post on using Netfabb, as well as Meshlab-(another excellent 3D mesh repair tool) for repairing 3D models.

Below are a couple of links to these Netfabb resources, the first link listed below is the post which includes using Meshlab and netfabb for repairing 3D models, and the second link is a 5 tip tutorial on using Netfabb to improve 3D model printability.

I hope you and others find the links presented above helpful.

Apologies again for the inconvenience, and thank you so very much again for your feedback. Have a magnificent week.

5665 I owe you an apology...there is not an issue with your file...it is not corrupt. I traced the issue with Chrome or the upload software I'm using....it currently doesn't like uploading files from a sub level folder. Thank you for your quick response and suggested possible solutions. You are very patient and gracious.

That's okay. Apologies for my late reply. Thank you so very much for your response, and investigation. Also, thank you so very much for letting me know.
And, thank you so very much for your feedback and compliments.

Have an awesome week.

Is there any floating parts on it and is it detachable ????

Hello, apologies for the late response and repetition in the message. Thank you so very much for your question and patience.

I think the truck may be a solid model with no floating or detachable parts, however, I'm not sure. Although, the parts of the truck might be able to be separated in Meshmixer using the selection tool and separate. Meshmixer can also repair the model if there are any holes and other errors in the mesh, using the close cracks tool works well for holes in the mesh. Then you may export the model.

Then in Netfabb, you may be able to further repair the model, if further repair is needed.

Sometimes you need to repair the model in Meshmixer to prevent errors in the mesh when imported into other places.
You may also import the model into Netfabb for extra repair.
If your model doesn't show up in Netfabb, you may need to repair the model in MeshLab, then export it into Netfabb.

Apologies again, and thank you so very much again for your question and patience.
