Great design! Printed perfectly.. However the top connecting to faucet is a little too small for me and I cannot thread it on. Any tips? Can I scale this a tad or will it throw off the threads ?

Scaling a small amount won't mess it up too much; however, I'd recommend adjusting the customizable version. It should make it fit better. Let me know if that doesn't work.

I like this even though it didn't quite work for me. The thread_outer_diameter of 27 was too large to fit the female hose end. It only screwed in about 1/4 turn. I changed it to 25.4 and that turned out to be too loose but it still sealed on the rubber gasket. If I print another I'm thinking 26.2 will be pretty close.

It turned out that I need the faucet end to be male threads to fit my faucet. I looked at the scad file in OpenSCAD but could not see any setting to change the female threads into male threads. I know very little about OpenSCAD programming. Does this scad file have gender swapping built into it as it is currently written? Thanks. The adapter itself prints very nice without supports.

I'm glad that you like it. It's still a work in progress, but I have been busy with other projects while finishing my training. For now, it does not include a reversal of threads but if you're interested in following it that would be my ultimate goal.

Thank you for making the offer. That is very generous of you. But I will likely come up with my own solution before you get a chance to tackle this project. Thanks again.

It looks correct, and it very well may be. It is possible that the sizes for garden houses and kitchen faucets are different in Asia. It certainly looks like it would work, but........ no such luck. I have been searching for this connector for ages.

I uploaded the customizable file so you can adjust them via customizer. Or, if you send me the dimensions of what you want, I can try to help with that. :)

Very cool of you to offer to do that. I don't use OpenScad although I have it. I use Sketchup. It will do threads but I will have to go through the learning curve. I probably need to go through the process. It will be a good exercise for me. I swear it looks exactly right for the hose and faucet fittings here. It might be the nearest metric equivalent to US sizes. Thanks for offering.

I'm happy to help you with this. It's actually pretty easy to adjust. All I need to know is a couple of variables. If you would like help let me know and I can tell you how to adjust it.
